- I would start off the video with an introduction of myself and the whole process of how 10,000 solutions works.
- I would then discuss my problem of how organizations lack volunteers.
- I would follow up evidence from organizations speaking about this to news reports.
- Then I would state my possible solution to the problem and how it may benefit not only the students as well as the community. I would include statistics, facts, as well as testimonies from students who have been required to do community service.
- I have also had the opportunity to interview a professor who teaches high school and college students. I will read over the questions I asked him and the answer he gave me. (I will not be able to record my solution and interview him since his schedule is pretty busy).
- I will then use a picture montage with a voiceover at the end to try and give off a persuasive feel as to why I feel that this solution is a good on.
- I will close off with a thank you and to vote for my solution to be chosen.

It seems like you have a pretty good start on how you might want your video to go. I feel like this could be very interesting I just hope that you will not bore the people who might be watching it. Also when it come to the interview (not sure if you have already done this yet) if you haven't you might be able to use your phone to record the interview and you overlay it through your video. You might want to be careful of your montage as you might lose the interest of your viewers. I hope you can convince the people that you need to to get the solution started.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as though you have a pretty good grasp on what your plan is and how the whole thing will come together as a whole presentation. I like that you will have an actual person that can contribute to your overall discussion. This will make your ten thousand solutions look more believable and more achievable with a real figure standing with you. I feel as though the montage will be interesting and your viewers will enjoy it just be sure not to be like the one we had in class where it is two little pictures and then a book of information that the audience has to decipher. I feel as though you will not do that so I look forward to seeing the presentation.
ReplyDeleteI really like this outline. It sounds like you have a really good idea of what you want to do. I think the idea of having an interview will greatly contribute to the video and help to keep the attention of the audience especially if it is included as a face to face interview with someone else acting it out if the professor himself cannot participate himself. I definitely like your plan to include lots of facts and evidence supporting your argument. This will really add to the credibility of the idea and may be more convincing to the audience. I think that a perspective from either a student who regularly volunteers somewhere or someone from a place that is in need of volunteers would be very helpful if you had the opportunity to contact someone.
